Passengers on First Class Etihad Airways flights stopping off in Dubai can now get a free hotel stay, the airline has announced.
Many Brits catching flights to Dubai may be using the UAE city as a quick stop-off before catching onward services to long-haul destinations, but a new promotion from Etihad Airways aims to get first class passengers to consider staying for longer.
From today (May 10th) until the end of August, anyone booking a premium seat on Etihad flights to long-haul destinations via the UAE can enjoy a free stop-over in a luxury hotel.
The promotion allows discerning travellers to stay for up to three days for free and discover the unique allure of Yas Island, Abu Dhabi or Dubai itself.
Guest travelling from Europe and catching onward connections can stay for three nights free if they book a Diamond First class seat, or two nights if they book a Pearl First class seat.
This offer includes complimentary breakfast and chauffeur-driven airport transfers to a selection of luxury hotels across the region.
Peter Baumgartner, chief commercial officer at Etihad Airways, said: “We have worked closely with a number of luxury hotels and this promotion provides our premium guests with tremendous value and opportunity.”
