Anyone who has booked flights to Dubai could soon choose to stay in one of the city’s most stylish new hotels.
People who are travelling to Dubai over the coming months will no doubt be planning to visit its latest attraction, the Burj Khalifa.
But soon anyone who has booked flights to Dubai will be able to do more than simply visit the world’s tallest building.
Later this month, the Armani Hotel Dubai, which is located in the tower, is due to open and this week it underwent an inspection tour from members of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
The hotel is the first to be opened by the Italian designer, with other establishments in the chain due to appear elsewhere around the world later this year.
It has 160 guest rooms and suites, with rooms located on the fifth to the eighth floors of the tower, while the suites can be found on the 38th and 39th levels.
Visitors to the Burj Khalifa can ascend to the observation deck of the tower on the 124th floor and take in the panoramic views across the city.
According to the DTCM, between 3,000 and 5,000 people have already made the trip up the building since it opened to the public on January 4th.
