In delightful news to flyers taking India bound flights tickets, Cathay Pacific is offering its award-winning business and premium economy cabins on selected India routes.
Travellers looking to book tickets on flights between India and Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific would soon be able to enjoy the airline’s award-winning Business Class and Premium Economy Class cabins.
To begin with, the new seating options will be introduced on the Delhi-Hong Kong route on October 29, 2012, offering novel experience to passengers buying tickets on the sector. Airbus 330-300 will feature a configuration of 39 Business Class seats, 28 Premium Economy and 175 Economy seats for passengers seeking flights tickets with the airline on the route.
Gradually, the flag carrier of Hong Kong plans to introduce these new seat cabins on other routes of India – Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai – for which people can book flights tickets.
“We have designed these seats after taking feedback from our customers. Our new Business Class has been voted as World’s Best Business Class in the 2012 Skytrax World Airline Awards in July this year,” Tom Wright, General Manager – South Asia, Middle East & Africa, Cathay Pacific, was quoted in news reports.
Travellers buying tickets for airline’s business cabins will have more control over their level of privacy and at the same time will enjoy personalised services offered on the inbound and outbound India flights. The Premium Economy, a comparative cheap option for passengers making tickets bookings on Cathay Pacific’s flights bound for India, is billed as an enhancement of the existing economy seats, with more space and better reclines and seat pitch.
Even economy seats on the new configuration flights will be more comfortable, say reports. Apart from more space and storage area, each seat will come with high resolution touch screen television, a USB outlet and an iPod/iPhone outlet for passengers with air tickets.
