A new Clive Owen movie was predominantly filmed in the region around Adelaide.
A movie called The Boys Are Back used locations in and around the South Australian city of Adelaide as its backdrop.
Clive Owen stars alongside Emma Booth in the film, which is due for release in the UK on January 22nd next year.
Adelaide features heavily in the movie, which follows the story of a sports journalist (Owen) who becomes a single parent under tragic circumstances.
Many of the coastal scenes were filmed at Aldinga Beach, where travellers are allowed to take four-wheel drive vehicles onto the sand.
The vineyards featured in the motion picture were those of Dog Ridge Wines, which is located in the Mclaren Vale region, approximately 45 minutes by car to the south of the city.
Part of the film sees the father of the family take his son on a road trip. One of the more picturesque locations used for this section of the story is the coastal town of Port Elliot, which is on the southern side of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
