There is nothing worse then a traveller with poor personal hygiene while on a cheap flight to Australia and other holiday hotspots, it has been discovered.
Travellers whose personal hygiene leaves something to be desired are the worst people to sit next to on a plane, it has been asserted.
According to a poll undertaken by Travelocity, smelly air passengers are travellers’ worst nightmare while on their cheap flights to Thailand and other long-haul destinations.
Coming closely behind with a vote of 30 per cent are people who sneeze excessively and with 15 per cent of the vote, the more portly passenger is an annoyance for some.
Other behaviour deemed to be irritating on an airplane is chattiness (five per cent) as well as snoring (one per cent).
This news comes after Japanese company Al Nippon Airways stated that it will begin asking its passengers to use the toilet before they fly, as this may help it to achieve lighter aircraft and reduce its carbon emissions.
