Prince Frederick and Princess Mary of Denmark are currently touring Australia.

Travellers getting off flights to Melbourne could well come across Prince Frederick and Princess Mary of Denmark, who are currently touring around the city.

The couple were greeted by seven-year-old Catherine Babie, who presented Princess Mary with a bunch of gerberas, chrysanthemums and lilies, ABC News reports.

As part of the Australia tour, Prince Frederick has been promoting his an environmentally-friendly message, saying he and his wife are in the country to develop “the existing strong commercial relationship between Australia and Denmark in areas of mutual interest, such as smart cities, clean energy, fruit and meat technology”.

The royal couple are also promoting food exports from Denmark and have been to Sydney and Canberra as well.

Last month, the Queen of England also made her way to Australia – and people on flights to Melbourne in October may have had the chance to meet her.

She concluded her trip down under by visiting Perth, saying she and Prince Phillip will once again “return to the UK with fond memories”.
