Homebake – an annual music festival in Sydney that showcases all of the country’s best bands – is set to take place later this week.
The land down under is a hotbed of musical creativity and landmark acts – Kylie, Nick Cave and AC/DC but to name a few – and those on cheap holidays in Australia can take the opportunity to discover some more next year.
Homebake – a festival that showcases the talents of up-and-coming musicians – is set to take place on Saturday December 5th and will feature both well-established artists and more underground acts.
Tim Finn, one of the daddies of Australia’s alternative music scene and former Crowded House member, will take to the stage alongside the likes of Jet and Powderfinger.
Howling Bells, Die! Die! Die! and Eskimo Joe are also on the promising line up, which should set the summer season off in style.
Held in the Domain in Sydney, the much-loved event could make for some perfect holiday memories and ticketing information is available on the official website.
The Domain is a green space of 34 hectares and provides playing fields, lawns and tranquil spaces for the city’s inhabitants and visitors alike.
