The Home & Giving Fair – the biggest gift and homewares exhibition in the southern hemisphere – is to open in Melbourne tomorrow (August 6th).
People travelling on cheap flights to Melbourne over the coming days may have the chance to visit the Home & Giving Fair.
Starting tomorrow (August 6th), the five-day expo will see dozens of wholesalers and importers showcase their goods to retailers at what is the biggest gift and homewares fair in the southern hemisphere.
The fair opens at 09:00 local time and shuts at 18:00, with the exception of August 10th – the event’s final day – when it closes at 15:00.
Davjac Giftware Australia, Global Display and Zizzi are among the firms whose goods will be on display at the event, which will is being held over two locations – the Melbourne Exhibition Centre (MEC) on Clarendon Street and the Melbourne Showgrounds on Epsom Road.
And the MEC could be a particularly attractive venue for those who have taken cheap flights to Melbourne to visit. The building offers 30,000 sq m of purpose-built exhibition space and a 466-seat auditorium, while its Clarendon Room boasts views over the Yarra River.
