People taking cheap flights to Australia could experience some of the country’s most amazing coastlines by paying a visit to the Gold Coast.
Martin Winter, chief executive officer at Gold Coast Tourism, explained that it is home to a stunning natural, contrasting landscape, providing an area which is just waiting to be explored.
“Seventy kilometres of pristine coastline stretching from the Southport Spit down to the New South Wales border township of Kingscliff,” Mr Winter explained.
He added that the pristine beaches and blue seas are complemented by 100,000 hectares of rainforest, which have been granted World Heritage status.
However, that is not the only attraction of the area, as the local hospitality is well known and will guarantee a memorable trip.
Travellers taking cheap flights to Australia who wish to make sure they are enjoying the country in a sustainable way could try the Wolgan Valley resort, which was recently honoured at the 2011 Conde Nast World Savers Award.
