Brisbane is staging a concert by Catcall this weekend as part of its Surrealism Up Late cycle.
The Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane will give people who have taken cheap flights to Brisbane the chance to see Catcall play, as well as enjoy a variety of other art-based entertainment.
It is part of the venue’s Surrealism Up Late series, with Sydney-based artist Catcall due to perform on Friday July 29th at 20:30 local time.
She has yet to release her debut album – due to be unveiled later in 2011 – but the tracks she has made so far have been warmly received online.
Catcall’s concert at the Gallery of Modern Art is just part of the evening’s proceedings. Attendees can check out the deranged Alejandro Jodorowsky movies El Topo and The Holy Mountain at 18:00 and 20:15 respectively.
There will also be talks taking place at 18:45 and 19:00.
Tickets for the whole night cost AU$20 (£13.70). The venue is located by Brisbane River next to the State Library of Queensland and Queensland Art Gallery.
