The western Australia tourist board is urging people to fly to Australia and visit ex-pat family and friends.
Brits who have family living on the other side of the world are being encouraged to book a flight to Australia and pay them a visit.
This is according to Tourism Western Australia, which has said that there were many great Australian holiday deals on offer and that “there has never been a better time to visit friends” living in the region.
“We know there’s an enormous sense of local pride in western Australia,” said Christie Lord, marketing manager at the tourist centre.
She added that 96 per cent of people surveyed in the region said they would be proud to recommend many of the local tourist attractions and destinations to those looking for a holiday in Australia.
Holidaymakers who have booked a flight to Perth may wish to head to the 80 kilometres of coastline that the region has to offer.
Picnic spots and free barbecue facilities are also popular features.
