Malaysia’s budget airline, AirAsia will increase the number of its weekly flights to India connecting Trichy to Kuala Lumpur. The airline is expected to enhance its flight frequency from 7 to 11 from October 15, 2012.
British travellers looking for cheap flights to the ever popular holiday destination of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia with a connection in India may soon have added flight options available to them.
Malaysia’s popular low-cost airline, AirAsia will enhance its weekly flight frequency between India and Malaysia. The airline is all set to increase the number of its weekly flight services connecting Kuala Lumpur and Trichy, a south India destination, from October 15, 2012, revealed online sources.
Reports indicate that the budget carrier will offer four additional flights between the two destinations. Presently, the carrier operates seven weekly operations between the cities.
The airline’s additional service to India will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays. The additional weekly flights will complement the daily flight services between the two destinations.
AirAsia’s India bound flights (AK1235) will depart from Kuala Lumpur at 2.45 pm and will arrive in Trichy (India) at 4.00 pm. The return flight (AK1236) will depart Trichy at 4.30 pm and will arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 11.00 pm.
In a bid to lure passenger, the carrier has also launched a special scheme where it is offering promotional all-inclusive fares on the route.
The special promotional fares launched are available at airline’s official website, www.airasia.com. The promotional fares are available for booking from August 29 until September 9, 2012 for travel dates between September 4 and November 2012.
