Retro Ski Lodge Block Party
Retro Ski Lodge Block Party will be held on Chicago’s Gold Coast entertainment district. It is a winter block party and promises an absolutely wild time. All venues will open at 10 AM for a retro ski-lodge themed bash. Participating bars and restaurants include Butch McGuire’s, Coconutz, Hopsmith Tavern, The Original Mother’s, McFadden’s, and The Hangge Uppe. Entrance ticket only costs $10.

Chinese New Year Parade
Also termed as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, the Chinese New Year is a time-honoured holiday honouring deities and ancestors. Traditionally, homes are cleaned, gifts are exchanged, and red paper lanterns are hung to welcome and bring good luck in the New Year. S. Wentworth Avenue’s Chinese New Year parade comprises of marching bands, multi-coloured floats, and traditional dragon. Admission is free!

University of Chicago Folk Festival
University of Chicago Folk Festival features three days of dancing, music, and workshops. Concerts and performances are held in evenings during the weekend. Workshops cover topics such as Scandinavian instruments and musical styles, banjo playing, and English country dance and singing in two and three-part harmony. University of Chicago Folk Music is a good point for music-buffs to enjoy compositions and learn more.

Chicago RV & Camping Show
Chicago RV & Camping Show will display 400 New RVs brought forward by some of the best dealers. Here, brands like Airstream, Pleasure Way, Forest River, Denali, Jayco and Kroph belt out magnificent performances! The New 2017 models will be presented too. Tickets are available at the entrance. Chicago Golf Show
Chicago Golf Show is ‘one of the largest golf shows in the Midwest with over 180 vendors, a 4500 square foot demo area, and special appearances by top PGA professionals.’ Golf club producers offer tips, tricks, and answer questions while the person tests the latest clubs. The participators can receive special show offers on gloves, balls, shoes, and other golf apparel and equipment.
