Jet Airways to Start Flights on Delhi-Dammam Route

Jet Airways, a premier option among travellers looking for flights to India, will launch a direct flight between New Delhi and Dammam in Saudi Arabia. The airline’s new service will be offered four times a week and will come into effect from March 17.

Jet Airways, one of India’s leading international airlines, will start operating a direct flight between Delhi and Dammam, a city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It will be a four times a week service and will be operational from March 17, 2012.

This new flight launch will become the third connection between Dammam and India. From Dammam, flights to India connecting the financial capital, Mumbai and southern city, Trivandrum are already in place. Flights on the new route will operate four times a week – Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Those looking to book cheap flights to India for onward connection to destinations like Kathmandu and Dhaka can also take advantage of the new route launch.

Jet Airways’ flight 9W 567 will depart Dammam at 2355 hrs (local time) and land in Delhi at 0615 hrs next day. For the return flight, 9W 568 will leave Delhi airport at 2035 hrs (LT) and arrive in Dammam at 2255 hrs (LT).

The airline is going to deploy a Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the new route and is going to offer Premiere and Economy Class travel options for the guests. Jet Airways has a considerable presence in the Gulf with operations to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Sharjah, Jeddah and Riyadh already in existence.

The airline believes that Delhi-Dammam services will further strengthen Jet Airways’ presence in the region.

The service will also provide convenient connections from and to Delhi to neighbouring countries like Kathmandu and Dhaka and also to important stations in India.”
