Sports fans will have lots to keep them entertained if taking a holiday in Dubai this November.
An outdoor adventure “extravaganza” is to be held in the Emirates this autumn, which may be of interest to people taking a holiday in Dubai.
Outdoor Adventure Dubai 2009 will be held between November 19th and 21st at the Dubai Festival City in the World Trade Centre.
Sport-lovers, adrenaline junkies and people taking a family holiday in Dubai will be catered for, according to Helal Saeed Almarri, chief executive officer at the venue.
Representatives from international major sporting events, sports associations and adventure travel companies will be on hand at the event and visitors may be able to seek advice on skateboarding, sea fishing and scuba diving from sports experts.
It is thought that some 10,000 people will visit the event – both people taking a holiday in Dubai and locals – and some will even get the chance to take the latest 4X4 vehicles out onto a special track.
Travellers who have booked a flight to Dubai in October may wish to attend the Swatch FIVB Beach Volley World Tour – which will be the first time women will have participated in such an event in the Gulf destination.
