From July 1st until the end of August, Virgin Atlantic is offering travellers who check in online a £6 discount voucher to spend on duty free shopping once on board the flight.
“We hope that this promotion will encourage passengers to check in online before their trip as it means their journey through the airport … will be made much easier and more enjoyable,” said Paul Dickenson, sales and marketing director at the company.
The vouchers will be available to print out once the online check-in is completed and they can be used on the day of departure.
On board Virgin Atlantic aircraft, their duty free store – Retail Therapy – offers a range of cosmetics, fragrances, accessories and gadgets at lower prices than on the high street, the carrier stated.
Travellers taking a holiday in India in July may wish to visit a film festival in the birthplace of Bollywood.
Enoma Film Festival will take place from July 14th to 16th in Mumbai.
