World Triathlon Grand Finals offer perfect Kiwi experience

The World Triathlon Grand Finals will be held in Auckland from October 14th to 22nd.

Often this takes the form of intense sporting action and the Barfoot & Thompson World Triathlon Grand Final is the kind of event that really encapsulates the local culture.

This year, it takes place in Auckland from October 14th to 22nd and is the culmination of the ITU World Triathlon Series, which pits the planet’s best athletes against each other in eight races in cities around the world.

The elite women’s race starts on Saturday October 20th, while the men set off on the following day.

Anyone who gets itchy feet can also take part in the fun run races, which offer the chance to compete individually or as part of a team.

Throughout the Finals, Auckland also hosts the Sports & Lifestyle Expo, so there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the New Zealand experience.
