The Abu Dhabi F1 grand prix is expected to be exciting both on and off the track.
People booking flights to Abu Dhabi to see this weekend’s Formula One grand prix can expect more than just great racing at the Yas Marina complex.
The motor racing is going to be tense as Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel closes in on a third consecutive World Championship, but away from the circuit there is set to be a party atmosphere.
A host of big name acts are scheduled to appear in a star-studded line-up of musicians and artists performing at the grand prix’s official After-Race concerts at du Arena and the Yasalam Beats on the Beach festival.
“There is no bigger weekend for Abu Dhabi than F1 – we are under the spotlight and we are intent on making sure the emirate shines,” said Faisal Al Sheikh, event manager at TCA Abu Dhabi.
As well as performers Kylie Minogue, Eminem and Nickelback, other well known faces set to be there include Leona Lewis, Chitranga Randhawa, Jessica Ennis and Manchester City footballers.
