A new survey has revealed that a surprising number of people worry about getting their clothes off and swimming costumes on while abroad.

The poll, carried out by Total Greek Yoghurt, found that 75 per cent of British women felt self-conscious about their figures, while 40 per cent of men felt insecure about how they would compare with others.

Meanwhile, three out of five female respondents said they would feel better if they could lose some weight before their holidays, reports Female First.

Last year, a study by weight management product Slimthru, reported by Keep the Doctor Away, found that weight worries caused 13 per cent of respondents to forgo a summer holiday.

Anyone who wants to cover up this summer may be interested in booking flights to Dubai. Traditionally a conservative Muslim country, police are this week actively cracking down on people who may be showing a little too much of their beach bodies.
