Tourists can now board the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels to get from Delhi to other must-see states.

People disembarking from flights to India are often overwhelmed by the choice of options that they have to choose from in a country that is so large and diverse.

Tourism chiefs in the country are recognising this fact and looking to make it easier for visitors to get around and see the major sights in style.

One new way of doing this is the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels development that undertook its maiden journey on Sunday (October 7th).

In a country that is famous for its railways, the Royal has already been touted as the country’s most luxurious train.

It is a joint venture between Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation Ltd and the Indian Railways and will travel from Delhi to Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh every Sunday until April 2013.

Tourists can choose from over 35 coaches, while the train also consists of a spa, gymnasium, specials suites, deluxe saloons and two restaurants.
