Byron resort gets new spa treatments

Those heading off on cheap flights to Australia may be tempted to visit the luxurious Byron Resort and Spa after the hotel announced a number of new spa treatments and a meditation walk.The new treatments and “unique meditation walk”, which takes visitors through the surrounding rainforest, are both part of the hotel’s recent revamp and could be just the thing for those on cheap flights to Australia looking to relax.

Many people head down under as part of a busy gap year, so a visit to the spa could be the ideal antidote to days spent travelling around, rucksack on back.

Treatments available at the spa include body rubs, scalp treatments, hot oil treatments and aromatherapy steam sessions. After these, guests can wander across the timber boardwalks around the 40 acres of rainforest which surrounds the resort.

While at the resort, guests make want to pay a visit to the town of Byron Bay, just a few miles away. This popular surfing spot is often a stop-off for backpackers, attracted by its famous swells and beautiful beaches.
