Southall Travel has been named as one of the leading private mid-market growth companies in the UK at the 13thannual Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 awards dinner held at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel in London yesterday. With annual sales of £564.3 million, Southall Travel ranked 18th in the table, which was published on 1 October 2017.

Being the only travel agency and tour operator to feature in the Top 20, the ratings confirm Southall Travels’ position as one of the UK’s fastest growing travel companies in 2017.

Guests at the awards dinner included founders and senior directors from leading companies and were welcomed by Sacha Romanovitch, chief executive at title sponsor Grant Thornton UK LLP.

Addressing the achievement, Paul Wait, Chief Operating Officer of Southall Travel said:

Fast Track has published national league tables of top-performing private companies with The Sunday Times for the past 20 years. The Top Track 250 annual league table ranks the UK’s private mid-market companies with the biggest sales.Southall Travel first entered the Top Track 250 in 2010 at 148th position and has since risen up the rankings breaking into the top 20 last year when it was placed at 17th position.

In 2005, the company was also ranked 81 in Fast Track 100 league table, which ranks Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years.
