The gala event took place under the glittering lights and soothing ambience of the Paradise Island Resort & Spa, Maldives, and played host to many superior intellects and leaders of holidays and tourism sector from across the Indian Ocean region.
The minister of Tourism and Leisure, Michael Sik Yuen said, “We can clearly see the positive effects of the diversification of the markets specifically in the honeymoon and sports (kitesurf and diving) segments. Mauritius has consolidated its position in the Indian Ocean as the undeniable Leader in terms of travel choice for honeymooners”.
