Murjan Splash Park
The Murjan Splash Park is located at the Khalifa Park in Abu Dhabi. This water park is particularly suitable for the little ones and is decked with around 7 water-based attractions including tube rides, trampolines, slides, and water fights. The main attraction of this park is the ‘Water Play Structure’, which is a shallow pool area housing small waterslides, large tipping bucket, crawl tunnel, small tipping buckets, and water wheel. Kids can float atop the park’s 257 metre long and 0.6 metre deep ‘lazy river’ or have amazing adventures at the ‘Water Balloon Wars’. Murjan houses good eating joints and on-site facilities.
Hili Fun City
Hili Fun City is located at Al Ain in Abu Dhabi and is said to be the first amusement park to be built in the UAE. Since its inception in 1985, it has undergone massive changes and today boasts of over 30 attractions, including thrilling rides and adventures that have been built according to international standards. Travellers will find this to be more of a traditional family attraction, which has something for everybody. There are gentle slides for small kids and roller coasters for the older ones. The park also hosts live shows, shops, and specified barbeque areas and restaurants for dining.
Wadi Adventure
The Wadi Adventure is not exactly an amusement or water park, but nonetheless is a must-visit man-made attraction for adventure lovers. The Wadi Adventure is located in Al Ain in Abu Dhabi and is a great place to enjoy white water rafting, kayaking, and surfing. There are three white water rafting and kayaking runs with international standard features, one surf pool that creates 3.3 metre high waves, one rope course, climbing wall, and zip line. Travellers can also take relaxing dips at its separate adult and toddler swimming pools. The place has some fine dine and shopping outlets as well.
