A new hotel in Pattaya has been commended for its “first-class facilities”.

Holidaymakers who are jetting off on flights to Thailand may wish to bear the results of a recent awards ceremony in mind when they are booking their accommodation.The Holiday Inn Pattaya was awarded the accolade of Best New Hotel at the Asia Australasia Leaders’ Meeting 2010 for its “first-class facilities” and excellent service.

Craig Ryan, the hotel’s general manager, was in Singapore to collect the award. He said: “Our stylish and contemporary hotel has created the winning formula of an outstanding location, first-class facilities, personalised service, and value for money for leisure and business guests.”

As well as boasting views across Pattaya Bay, the newly-built hotel also offers a whole host of delights for foodie travellers, with diners able to relax in one of five restaurants and entertainment venues.

Holidaymakers who visited the area recently were able to splash their cash at the Shop on the Beach event, with hundreds of retailers offering their products at great prices in a bid to give the area a financial boost.
