Holidaymakers heading to Thailand this month can get big discounts on hotel stays.
To celebrate the Buddhist new year festival of Songkran, a south-east Asian hotel chain is offering a 25 per cent discount on room rates for travellers taking flights to Thailand.
Dusit International is running this promotion until the end of the month for anyone who books in for two nights or more at any of its five properties across Thailand, Manila and Dubai.
Rates start from THB2,500 (£51) per night in a deluxe room including breakfast in Dusit Island Resort Chiang Rai.
Other hotels featured in the offer include Renaissance Koh Samui, a luxury spa complex on the popular Thai holiday island.
Guests can enjoy a private whirlpool bath on the balcony of their deluxe room, as well as a special Songkran festival dinner for two on the beach.
Alternatively, if you’re looking to spend some time in the capital, then you can take advantage of the 25 per cent discount at the Banyan Tree in Bangkok.
Packages on offer include one 90-minute massage each and a choice of either a traditional Thai or Japanese dinner.
