The property will be developed and managed by the Singapore-based COMO Hotels and Resorts and will be in located in Phang Nga Bay.
It will be the ninth property for COMO and will provide a total of 129 rooms, each offering views of the Yamu peninsula and Andaman Sea. The resort is well-placed for those takingĀ flights to Thailand, as it is around 20 minutes from Phuket International Airport.
Facilities for guests will include a 100-metre swimming pool, a yoga studio, a private beach and two restaurants.
“The addition of this Phuket property is aligned with COMO Hotels and Resorts’ expansion plans within the region,” said Harry Apostolides, vice-president of business development, COMO Hotels and Resorts.
He added: “Phuket is one of the top tourist destinations in the region and we have focused on its east coast – an area of outstanding natural beauty and great biodiversity.”
COMO already operates the Metropolitan Bangkok hotel which is a 40-minute drive from Suvarnabhumi international airport.
