A newlywed has said how much she enjoyed a recent honeymoon holiday in Thailand.Writing for the Birmingham Mail, Emma McKinney commented that she and her husband visited both Bangkok and Phuket and thoroughly enjoyed them, even though they were a complete contrast to each other.Firstly, she wrote of visiting Bangkok’s Grand Palace (Wat Phra Kaew) and the reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), as well as seeing how the countryfolk really lived by taking frequent boat trips.
The couple also enjoyed a multi-course meal at a tint Thai restaurant for only £7.50 each.
However, Ms McKinney also said that they appreciated the peace and quiet in Phuket.
“As we checked into Cape Panwa, a small spa resort tucked on a hillside away from Phuket’s busier resorts, we realised we were truly in our own tropical paradise,” she concluded.
