Pattaya has so much to offer visitors.
There are plenty of great attractions to check out in the Thai beach resort of Pattaya, which is particularly noteworthy for its bustling nightlife and packed schedule of activities.
The popular locale, which is just 150km south-east of Bangkok, has seen much improvement in recent years, particularly in terms of the quality of its beaches, and authorities have worked hard to make it a family-friendly destination.
Hundreds of thousands of visitors travel to Pattaya each year, according to Tourism Thailand, with some of the most popular activities including windsurfing, waterskiing, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling and sailing.
If you prefer to head inland, you’ll be able to take advantage of some great cycling opportunities, while there are also chances for karting, paintballing and other great outdoor activities.
The tourism authority notes: “Another major draw for visitors to Pattaya is the wide selection of restaurants serving some of Thailand’s freshest seafood.”
With so many people visiting the destination from all over the world, it’s not just Thai food on offer, but French, Italian, Swiss, German, Hungarian, Scandinavian, Indian, Chinese and Japanese, as well as a few English-style eateries as well.
