The International Book Fair and the International Motor Show both get underway in the Thai capital of Bangkok today.
Bangkok sees the launch of two major events today (March 25th), with the International Motor Show and the International Book Fair both taking place.
Car lovers will have one more reason to book flights to Thailand, as the Bangkok International Motorshow, which runs until April 5th at the Impact Exhibition and Convention Center, is due to attract over a million visitors.
The event will showcase the latest advances in motoring technology as well as a range of vehicles, from classic cars to fast bikes.
If you prefer more calming pursuits, then the International Book Fair at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center may be a better choice.
The fair will be open until April 6th and will offer bookworms a wide selection of Thai and international literature from several genres of writing.
Admission to the book fair is free to the public and 1.5 million visitors are expected to attend.
