The Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa is set to be rebranded by the Minor Hotel Group in November.
Offering 413 rooms, including 94 suites as well as ten bars and restaurants, the Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa is a popular retreat for those taking flights to Thailand as it has a number of good transport links including a shuttle boat service.
The resort will become part of the Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas and will complement the company’s existing properties in the JW Marriott in Phuket and Marriott resorts in Pattaya and Hua Hin.
Peter Carmichael, senior vice-president of Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas said: “Anantara has gained a reputation for showcasing indigenous cultural experiences in some of the world’s most exotic locations.”
He added that the new property will be an “asset” with its “riverside location providing a perfect match with Anantara’s own charming identity”.
