This year will mark the 20th anniversary of Bette Davis’s death and the 1930s facade, décor and furnishings in the boutique Cape Town hotel are all inspired by the star’s early films.
Located close to the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, visitors to the accommodation venue will be able to choose from a DVD library of Bette Davis’s films, and be able to sample a selection of three special cocktails.
According to her official website, Bette Davis has often been dubbed “The First Lady of the American Screen” and starred in films such as Jezebel and Dangerous – for which she won an Oscar for both.
