Take in some culture during your stay in Cape Town this summer by heading to Shakespeare in the Park.
This summer people on flights to Cape Town will be able to have a cultural experience without having to miss out on any of the wonderful sunshine by attending Shakespeare in the Park.
Taking place in the city’s Maynardville Open Air Theatre, the event was created to complement the similar plays that are held each year in London in Regent’s Park.
A highlight of this year’s season for many is likely to be catching a performance of The Comedy of Errors, which is being given a Kung Fu influence under the guidance of director Matthew Wild.
Whatever play you choose to see, the evening could be a memorable one, as attendees are permitted to take a picnic and watch the performance under the stars.
There could be more people planning to take flights to Cape Town soon after the city was given a high rating by tourist to the city over the festive season.
