The fourth annual Splash Festival will be bringing live music and fireworks to Port Elizabeth’s Hobie Beach later this month.

Fun-loving visitors on flights to South Africa are advised that Hobie Beach in Port Elizabeth is the place to be this Easter, as Splash Festival returns for the fourth year in a row.

Over the Easter weekend, the coastal destination is transformed into an activity-packed carnival, featuring beach sports, live entertainment, and international watersports competitions.

Families and gap year travellers alike will also enjoy the range of stalls and marquees that are set up as part of the festival.

Acts scheduled to perform include Canadian-born singer Justin Hines, as well as local act Loyiso Bala and Pretoria rock band Wrestlerish.

Other highlights of the festival include a spectacular fireworks display on the second night of the four-day festival, which kicks off on Friday April 22nd.

The festivities will be brought to a close on April 25th with the closing ceremony, which will feature the musical stylings of Dr Victor and the Rasta Rebels.
