Bangalore’s Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) concluded recently. The fair saw a great deal of energy put in by a large number of representative individuals and groups, both from domestic and global market.
The event kick started in South India’s popular gateway on 11th January. It is India’s biggest network of travel fairs and remains a highly anticipated event in the industry’s calendar. The show brought together more than 225 participants from all over world, comprising a representation from 20 states and eight countries.
Such initiatives surely offer a stimulus to Indian tourism with people getting interested in the country and looking for tickets deals on flights arriving in India. As per official figures, six million foreigners took flights tickets and landed in India in 2012. Much bigger things are expected of country in terms of tourist arrivals in the coming years. China was the Feature Country this year and a sizable delegation from the Asian giant took tickets deals on India bound flights. The fair also had representation from Canada, Egypt, Singapore, Turkey and the USA.
