Princess Eugenie is slumming it like the rest of the world when it comes to her gap year, it has been revealed.
However, there is one clue to her identity – the two bodyguards who follow her everywhere.
The princess checked in under the assumed name of “Lotty”, the Daily Mail reports.
A bartender, Sanjay Naik, said he did not recognise her, but that she blended in with the other gap year travellers, playing pool and drinking cocktails in the sun.
“We did not think for a minute that she was a British princess. She would lie outside on the sun-lounger for most of the day sunbathing,” he told the newspaper.
Anyone heading on holidays to Goa, may be interested to know that the period between October and March is generally regarded as the best time to visit.
Many people choose to visit over Christmas as the water is still warm enough to swim in and the climate is mild.
