The very first edition of the event will showcase artworks of around 80 artists from 35 countries. At least 40 Indian artists are expected to exhibit their artwork in the fest. Sources further reveal that dignitaries from Australia, Portugal, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Brazil are expected to attend the fiesta.
The three month long extravaganza aims to showcase the cosmopolitan and historical legacy of South India’s modern metropolis, Kochi and the ancient port of Muziris to both locals and out-of-state visitors buying flights tickets to India.
The event is the only Indian fest to be listed in Forbes Magazine’s ’13 cultural events to be seen’.
