Delhi Treats Foodies with its Culinary Fest
Local foodies in Delhi, foreign tourists who are in the Indian capital or even those who have their hands around flights tickets and are waiting to arrive in India have a treat in store for them!
Delhi Tourism has organised a food festival, Delhi ke Pakwaan to satiate the craving of the people for scrumptious delicacies. India’s capital is known for its extraordinary culinary scene that allows not only the locals but also the ones who take international flights tickets to sample a host of mouth-watering dishes. Indeed, most foreigners who book cheap flights tickets for India’s busiest gateway are usually advised to treat their tummies with the city’s inimitably yummy street fare!
The week-long gastronomic celebration stared on 8th February and has already succeeded in offering a smile of satisfaction on many faces.
The fest is underway at the city’s most prominent shopping and business district, the Connaught Place – a venue that remains a must-visit on every sightseer taking tickets on flights for the region. Being held in the very centre of the metropolitan, it makes it easy for tourists to travel to the place, something highlighted by a Delhi Tourism official. “We have organised it in CP, the heart of the Capital, so that it is easier for people to visit,” he said.
Apart from treating their tummies, tourists who land at the venue would also be able to enjoy a host of cultural performances by some of the top names of India. Then there is the option of splurging on handicraft and jewellery at the fest. Surely for foreigners who are taking flights tickets to take in the very essence of India, it is unlikely to get better than this.
