A troupe of dancers from the US are set to showcase their impressive skills in Mumbai this month.
A dance group comprising of classically-trained performers will be showcasing their impressive modern style in Mumbai this month.
The Bad Boys of Dance were formed in Maryland in the US and are in India to demonstrate their impressive routines, which were created with influences from the member’s training in ballet and jazz, the Times of India reported.
“Our show is all about fun and enjoying the moment,” explained the group’s founder Rasta Thomas.
And despite their name, the group includes two female members, one of whom is Adrienne Canterna-Thomas, the wife of Thomas.
The group will be staging their show in seven cities across India – including Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad – and have already danced in front of legendary performers Prabhu Deva and Mithun Chakraborty.
Mumbai is something of a hotbed for people interested in culture, as the city hosts everything from the contemporary art show through to Hindu festival of Holi, which took place across the city’s streets earlier this month.
