People in search of some sunshine this winter may want to add Egypt to their list of holiday hotspots as it has been described as offering “fantastic value”.
Anyone looking to beat the winter blues without emptying the bank account may be interested in the latest list of top value destinations compiled by a foreign exchange service.
International Currency Exchange (ICE) has revealed that Egypt is on of the best value holiday locations for Brits this winter, where UK tourists can expect to get 9.41 per cent more for their money compared with the same time last year.
The company calculated that, on a £500 budget, British holidaymakers will receive an additional 400 Egyptian pounds.
Andrew Hamilton, head of marketing at ICE, commented: “We’re helping UK travellers ensure they choose destinations that will help them stretch their budget as far as possible.”
ICE is not the only organisation to rate Egypt as a good value holiday choice.
Earlier this month, the Post Office Travel Services Holiday Money Report rated the African country as a good option for British travellers, along with Jamaica and Dubai.
