The Dubai Desert Classic will take place from January 28th to February 3rd next year.
The Dubai Desert Classic will bring many of golf’s top players to the Middle East at the end of January.
Famous names like those currently preparing themselves for the Ryder Cup – world number one Rory McIlroy and 14-time major winner Tiger Woods included – are set to be in the emirate competing for one of the sport’s top prizes.
The event takes place at the Emirates Golf Club over six days from January 28th to February 3rd, so the weather will be perfect for spending some time on the fairways of the beautifully kept course, which is located next to the Jumeirah Palm resort.
McIlroy and Woods have both been past winners of the Desert Classic, but it is Ernie Els who has the best record at the competition, taking the title on three of the 12 times he has played there.
Tickets for next year’s event are currently on sale priced between AED 75 and AED 675 (£12 and £113).
