US rap superstar Snoop Dogg is due to play in Abu Dhabi this summer, it has been announced.
American rapper Snoop Dogg has confirmed that he will be making an appearance in the UAE later this year for a concert in Abu Dhabi.
The controversial hip hop star is due to play Yas Island on May 6th, Flash Entertainment has confirmed.
Music fans taking flights to Abu Dhabi can expect a mix of classic tunes as well as tracks from his 11th studio album Doggumentary, which was released last month.
The new record features guest appearances from a host of household names, such as R Kelly, Kanye West, Gorillaz and T-Pain.
Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, has been a major name in the rap music scene ever since he collaborated with Dr Dre on his debut album, The Chronic in 1992.
Other global acts set to play Abu Dhabi over the coming months include Colombian singer Shakira, who is due to appear on April 29th.
