Dubai has some of the world’s best-rated restaurants.
As one of the world’s most luxurious holiday destinations, Dubai aims to offer visitors the finest of experiences during their time in the emirate.
Nowhere is this more so than in the myriad of top-quality restaurants that populate the city, the majority of which boast delicious cuisine and high-quality service.
Two of its most prestigious restaurants are Zuma and La Petite Maison, which are well worth a visit if you can free up a bit of money in your holiday budget.
Earlier this month, they were both included in the San Pelegrino World’s Best Restaurants list, which is compiled by Restaurant Magazine and comprises the opinions of 800 critics from around the world.
One of the industry’s most definitive guides, the San Pellegrino top-100 list placed La Petite Maison at 96 and Zuma at 83. Both restaurants can be found at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
This is the first time the United Arab Emirates has had two entries on the list and is a sign of its increasing global prominence.
Upon the publication of the list at the start of May, Ajaz Shaikh, operations director at Zuma, said: “It’s absolutely phenomenal. Having two restaurants in Dubai representing the region – and both in DIFC, it’s kudos.”
He added that the focus for Dubai next year will be to push more local restaurants to this level.
