People who have taken holidays to Dubai in the past may want to return to the destination after one tourism expert commented that the city always has something new to see.

Dubai is constantly developing and as such, there will always be new and exciting things for visitors to the region to explore, a travel industry specialist has claimed.

Ian Scott, director at the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in the UK and Ireland, said that although development in the city had slowed down in recent months, there is still plenty for tourists to look forward to.

“There are many different projects, infrastructure developments and hotel openings taking place,” he noted.

Mr Scott added that the changes are what encourage people to return to Dubai again and again: “It keeps people coming back because there is always something new.”

He pointed out that the Dubai Metro will be fully open by March 2010 and there is a new spa due to open in the city in January.

Once the new transport system is fully up and running, its red line will serve 29 stations, including offering links to key locations such as the Mall and Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport.
