The Dreamliner airliner is set to arrive in Bangkok next month as part of a global tour.

People on flights to Bangkok next month could catch sight of the Dreamliner aircraft as they come in to land as it is poised to make a visit to the city.

The giant aircraft is undertaking a global tour during February 2012 and Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport has been named as one of the locations on the route which will see a visit.

A demonstration flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai for some of the airport’s VIPs is due to take place.

The stop in Thailand is set to be the last visit the aeroplane makes during its tour before setting off for an air show in Singapore.

It will also coincide with Thai Airlines planning how many of the carriers it wishes to purchase as part of its second batch.

Some people could be planning to take flights to Bangkok later in the year as the city is set to be one of the many which will host the Fifa Futsal World Cup.
