Morrissey set for Aussie return

Morrissey will be playing shows in Australia this coming December and January.

Morrissey will be performing at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on Monday December 17th.

The gig could be ideal for those holidaymakers who have ventured down under to enjoy a bit of winter sun in the build-up to Christmas this year.

This tour will be the first time that the former Smiths frontman has been to Australia to perform in more than two decades, so the atmosphere at the Centre is set to be electric.

He will be playing songs from his extensive back catalogue, as well as his latest album Years of Refusal, which has spawned instant classics such as One Day Goodbye Will Be Farewell and I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris.

Joining Morrissey in Brisbane will be American singer-songwriter Kristeen Young, whose wildly emotional energy and piano skills have wowed audiences across the world during this tour.

The pair will then play dates in Melbourne, Newtown and Sydney.
