Glamorous new venues like Silk Road and Seamstress provide the perfect place to kick off a night out on the tiles, while the picture-perfect views on offer at rooftop watering holes like Siglo and Silk Pagoda are not to be missed.
Meanwhile, for those after a more quirky drinking experience, Section 8 Container Bar in the heart of Melbourne’s Chinatown is a “post-apocalyptic beer house” with no walls where drinks are served from an old recycled shipping container.
The venue, in which guests use wooden pallets for chairs, regularly features appearances from Melbourne’s top DJs, as well as international bands and surprise guests.
