Foodies may wish to plan their holiday to coincide with the city’s inaugural international food festival, which is set to take place in October.
As part of the Sydney International Food Festival (SIFF) – which has an Asian flavours theme for its first year – a total of sixteen top chefs from around the globe will be on hand to sample, cook and discuss food.
The event was previously known as Sydney Good Food Month, but the new SIFF has incorporated a number of changes – including cooking classes and dinners.
Local chefs Brent Savage, Kylie Kwong and Neil Perry are set to attend, as well as former El Bulli chef Sergi Arola and Sebastian Bras of French restaurant Bras, who will be taking part in the World Chef Showcase Weekend from October 9th to 11th.
Those looking for a luxurious place to stay during their holiday in Sydney may wish to check out the newly-opened Diamant Penthouse Suite, which is located in the Diamant Hotel Sydney.
The penthouse comes complete with a gourmet kitchen, panoramic views, a master bedroom and two guest rooms, each with their own private bathrooms.
