Extra loyalty points from Etihad Airways may be on offer for travellers taking a holiday in Australia.
Travellers who book their flight to Australia with Etihad Airways may be able to benefit from a new partnership within the airline’s loyalty scheme.
Etihad Guest has joined forces with an Australian hotel group, Rendezvous Hotels and Resorts International, so that travellers booking a holiday in Australia through the scheme will be able to earn extra loyalty points.
Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ chief commercial officer, said: “Etihad Airways award-winning loyalty programme, Etihad Guest, prides itself on offering its members some of the most exclusive benefits available within the industry.”
He went on to say that the new partnership will take the programme “to new heights”.
The hotel group offers both four and five-star accommodation in some ten different countries in the Asia Pacific Region.
Locations include Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, Port Douglas and Adelaide for those looking for a holiday in Australia as well as Singapore, Shanghai and Auckland.
People who have booked flights to Sydney this July may wish to head to Queensland for the Childers Festival of Cultures taking place between July 25th and 26th.
