A wide range of circus acts and street performers are coming to Sydney this weekend for the annual Hoopla Festival.
Highlights of the five-day event include the physical theatre group Ivory Tower, who will perform acrobatic dance on an eight-metre high scaffold, while the Circus Playground is offering juggling, plate spinning and stilt-walking lessons.
Live music fans are encouraged to catch the Big Swing Brothers Big Band & Miguel in the Big Top Hat tent, as this act will be accompanied by an eight-piece band.
If the day’s free acts leave you crying out for more, then you can see the street performance showcase at 6pm local time for $10 (£6.50) or the best circus troupes at 8pm for $15 a ticket.
